Ingredients :


1. 500g lamb mince

2. 1 tbsp olive oil

3. 1 onion, finely chopped

4. 2 carrots, diced

5. 2 garlic cloves, minced

6. 150g garden peas

7. 2 tbsp tomato purée

8. 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

9. 250ml beef stock

10. 1 tsp fresh thyme

11. Salt, to taste

12. Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

13. 900g Maris Piper potatoes, peeled and chopped

14. 50g butter

15. 100ml whole milk


16. 75g mature Cheddar cheese, grated (optional)
